What’s the cost of doing the SCITT programme?
- The course fees for UK students in 2025 to 2026 are £9,250.
- The tuition fees for UK/EU students are typically: Full-time: £9,250 per year.
*Please note, we are awaiting further information on the recently announced changes to university course fees and how they will impact on ITT programmes.
Is there any funding available?
You will be registered as a full-time student throughout the programme so have access to lots of student benefits, as well as a student loan to cover your fees. Depending on your subject and qualifications, you may also be eligible for a bursary or grant to support you throughout your training.

Will I be paid a salary?

Do we offer Visa Sponsorship?
No, we do not offer Visa Sponsorship.
To complete our SCITT programme you will need the right to study in the UK.
You already have this if, for example, you:
- are an Irish citizen
- have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme (you may still be able to apply)
- have indefinite leave to remain in the UK
If you do not already have the right to study in the UK, you may need to apply for your visa to train to teach in England.
