Easing the complexities of mentoring – how are schools managing the new requirements for mentoring?

From September 2024, the requirements for the mentoring of ITT trainees include 20 hours of training for new mentors and 90 minutes of mentoring for each trainee per week. Schools are approaching the time required for training and the requirement for 90 minutes of mentoring per week in different ways.
