Training to become a teacher is a huge decision. Whilst your passion and commitment to train will set you off to the the best start, we know how important prioritising your mental health and wellbeing is too.
By design, our Outstanding programme will ensure that you are fully equipped to meet the challenge with a highly supportive team throughout your journey.
- An experienced in-school mentor, supporting trainees with 1.5 mentoring hours per week
- A subject mentor, an expert that delivers your subject/phase development
- Access to the ITT Programme Lead at the Hub, Angela Brown
- ITT coordinator and trained Mental Health First Aider, Kirsty Clark, supporting you from onboarding, to graduation.
- Flexibility offered with online, asynchronous study modules that is unique to our programme.
- Access to Sheffield Hallam, our partner university's support services
- A professional study space at our dedicated training Hub.
- Peer network community of trainees
